染色作家・井上美央
Mio Inoue, Roketsu(Textile Dyer)
大阪出身、2007年京都市立芸術大学卒。
ろうけつ染めによる作品を手がける。
A native of Osaka, Inoue is a 2007 graduate of Kyoto City University of Arts, and works mainly with wax-resist textile dyeing.
2010年「galleryそら+」での初個展「colors」を経て、カナダのギャラリー「L’espace contemporain galerie d’art Montreal」で書家との展覧会「EXPOSITION EN DUO」も行うなど、国内外で活躍。
With her 2010 exhibit Colors at gallery Sora+ and her Exposition en Duo at the L’espace Contemporain Galerie d’Art Montreal in Canada, her work is acclaimed both in Japan and abroad.
